Secretary J M Devine of the Nor mal board presented Independent landscape plans for the Minot Normal school. Prof Widron, landscape specialist at the state agricultural college, prepared the plan detailing a driveway, tree clumps, and a tree border at the hills foot. Plans show current and proposed buildings with future erection timing. Ground will be plowed soon to prepare for spring planting and several large native trees may be transplanted in winter.

Both remain healthy and active, with Mr Brown celebrating his 74th birthday and a life well lived alongside his partner in a journey of decades.

Farmers Clubs Hold Joint Meeting at Bohemian Hall
The Necrose, McKinley, N Prairie and two Eureka township clubs met at the Bohemian hall two miles north of the city Saturday night. After a supper and ball, dancing began at 11 o clock with West Eureka and North Prairie orchestras. W A Peck of Better Farming spoke on good roads. D R Brown, Jon Linnertz, Mr Webber and Col Hecht debated road funding. The program included readings by Miss Renze and others, a discussion on women’s rights led by Mrs Kelley, and songs and duets by local performers, with general satisfaction and promising results for future road improvements.
