Man carries 190 pound beer barrel home in 3.5 mile trek
Joe Zoppetti a miner at Lloyd mine North Lake surprised onlookers by transporting a half barrel of beer weighing 190 pounds from Congress Cafe Division Street to his home in a little over one hour and sixteen minutes less than the time limit. He paused at West Ishpeming and six other short stops then finished reportedly unfatigued amidst cheering crowds.
