He traced 59 years in education and highlighted honesty reliability and faith in work and God as keys to success. William Keskey 34 Fatally Hurt Near Wausau
William Keskey aged 34 was fatally injured Tuesday near Hatley Wisconsin while en route to Wausau. He died three hours later in a Wausau hospital. Keskey, a Wakefield native and WWII POW, left a wife Gertrude and two children Kathryn and William Jr. Funeral services are planned in Wausau.

Funds and materials for a proposed winter recreation center on Tank Hill Castile will be started immediately. Winter Sports Inc finance committee aims to raise 1000 in cash and gather ski tow material in June. Equipment includes 14 foot poles eight inch bottom diameter and wheels and spindles for two lines. rope and ski tow already procured. Construction and grading to begin soon with a lease from Sunday Lake Iron Co. and summer fall work to shape the area for skiing next winter. Two Local Girls Die In Car Train Crash Near Wausau
Four young people died when a car they rode in was struck by a Milwaukee Road passenger train about eight miles south of Wausau Sunday at 7:35 PM. Drivers James Katczka 22 and William Schaetzl 20. passengers Nancy Draxler 19 and Mary Carol Warren 19, all residents of local areas. Draxler and Warren were employed by Employers Mutual Insurance Co. Schaetzl had recently been released from the U. S. Army. The crash occurred on a town road west of Highway 51 as the car failed to stop for the northbound train. The wreck aged wreckage, hospital stays, and lengthy investigations followed. Funeral services were held for Schaetzl and Katczka in Wausau.

New Pastor to Assume Duties Here July 1
