Wakefield City Finance Report Shows Tax Income Increase
The anticipated balance for 1971 72 notes an $80 408 tax income based on 22 mills of $3 654 924 state equalized valuation up from last year by 67 981. Sewer bond payments total 14 619 at 4 mills while Sewer Bond & Interest Fund exceeds expenses by 4 769 to cover delinquencies. General Fund includes transfers from Electric and Water and Sewer Utilities as other income.
