Elkton Middle School distributes Chromebooks in rollout
About 460 sixth to eighth graders at Elkton Middle School received Chromebooks during an assembly, part of Rockingham County Public Schools digital conversion to provide mobile devices for students in grades three through 12. The deployment, three years in the making, continues with deliveries to J. Frank Hillyard Montevideo and Wilbur 8 Pence later this week, with more to come at four middle schools.

Elkton Middle SCA drives food drive during dress-up week
Elkton Middle School’s SCA held a week long fundraiser for EAUS with dress up days and Pie the Teacher. Top donors included Brooklyn Crummett 76 items who pied Brad Saylor Erin Comer 74 items who pied Jennifer Stroop and Sara Monger 66 items who pied Kristi German. EMS collected 922 food items and $200 for EAUS.
