Elkton voters reelect Printz as mayor in town races
Incumbent Mayor Wayne B. Printz won 734 votes or 56.9 percent to defeat Randell L. Snow with 546 votes in Elkton. Council races were uncontested for three seats with Joshua J. Gooden leading at 928 votes and Margaretta Dean Isom returning. Steve T. America earned his first term. In Grottoes Emily R. Hollaway won mayor with 1,033 votes and 442 write-ins. Shenandoah saw Mayor Clinton O. Lucas Jr. win with 655 votes over Andrew Batman 258. See Printz, Page 5.
