Wind Storm Destroys Roof Leaves Family Relocated
Hensley family survived a high powered wind storm that ripped off most roof metal. Shenandoah Fire Company arrived quickly and shut off electricity to prevent fire. Red Cross aided the family by locating a motel and coordinating shelter within 40 minutes. An insurance rep arrived with a crew two days later to tarpaulin the opening and arrange a new roof.
