PCHS robotics team excells at regional bid
Page County High School Pantech robotics team qualified for a regional competition in College Park Maryland April 7 to 9. The seven member squad must raise 7000 by April 1 with 4000 for entry and the rest for travel meals and lodging. The team placed 30th of 132 in a district covering Virginia Maryland and Washington DC.

Elkton and Montevideo middle schools are designated as Schools to Watch, the first two in the Shenandoah Valley. The Virginia State Middle School Association awarded the honor after an application and surveys of students, parents, teachers, and leaders. The program recognizes successful middle schools within a nationwide effort by the National Forum to Accelerate Middle Grades Reform. It's a great day at Rockingham County Schools.

Arts grant aids Elkton first graders in Mother Goose programs
