Racing for Wishes 150 set at Shenandoah Speedway
Promoter Jeff Thielscher announced the inaugural Racing for Wishes 150 at Shenandoah Speedway in Shenandoah. The event features 26 drivers with a $6,000 prize for the winner and a portion of ticket sales supporting the Greater Virginia Make a Wish Foundation. The race includes a 50 lap Legends Series.

Young racer Mini Terrell to compete in 150-lap event at Richmond weekend
Ten year old Manassas resident Mini Terrell will race in the 150-lap late race at a 3/8 mile paved track on April 24 at 6 p.m. The event coincides with Xfinity and Sprint Cup races in Richmond. A purse over 13,000 dollars awaits racers. Terrell, who started go-karts at four, has raced Shenandoah Speedway six times and works with Jeff Gordon's Children's Foundation, raising over 270,000 dollars for children's charities through speeches, fundraisers and lemonade stands at racetracks.

Ski season winds down at Massanutten and Bryce resorts
Skiers can still enjoy slopes as Massanutten Resort in McGaheysville ends its season after this past Sunday while Bryce Resort in Basye will stay open through next Saturday. Bryce will suspend snow tubing then, Massanutten plans to continue tubing for several weeks.
