Graduates Celebrate First SHS Cohort at JMU Convocation Center
About 200 Spotswood High School seniors, including class president Kevin Rinker, graduated Friday at James Madison University. Principal voices and remarks from Rockingham School Board member John Myer framed the ceremony, noting East Rockingham High School's opening shifted the district. Isabel Jimenez-Bush urged classmates to live in the moment and remember the past that shaped them, while Amy Gibson and Chloe Thompson reflected on mixed feelings about leaving.
