Grottoes volunteers kick off the annual lawn party fundraiser at Mountain View Park July 29 running through August 1. Chicken dinners start at 4 p.m. nightly and a Fireman’s Parade travels from Forest Avenue to Mountain View Park Friday at 7 p.m. The Saturday raffle draws begin at 6 p.m. with prizes including guns from Ruger Henry Mossberg Remington Savage Rossi Marlin Browning and a Kubota tractormower loader. Cash prizes range 250 to 5000 plus a crossbow and a firearm themed prize pool. A 10 p.m. fireworks display closes Saturday with live music each night.
