Elkton considers sale of Kite property and mansion
Elkton council heard public comment from two residents on Monday night about selling part of two former Kite properties including the Kite Mansion. A potential deal with former resident Pham Chopra would cover about 189 acres on town edges with an offer around 2.5 million dollars. The 19 acre portion with the mansion sits between the 111 room home and Elkton Middle School, with 180 acres north of Mount Pleasant Road.
