Pharmacy to offer vitamins to Elkton students
Elkton Family Pharmacy joins eight Rockingham County pharmacies to give free 30 day chewable vitamin supplies to elementary students. Rockingham County Public Schools approved the program, conceived by Nelson Showalter of Broadway Drug Center. Parents must fill a form during school registration to receive vitamins. AutoZone opens in Elkton with first weekend crowds
AutoZone, the Memphis based auto parts chain, opened in Elkton on July 3 and operated a full day July 4. The 6,768 square foot store sits on 1.84 acres at U.S. 33 and Old Spotswood Trail, bought from Diane Workman Derzis. Construction cost reached 918 720 dollars per CBI General Contractors Inc. Hours are 7 30 am to 9 pm Monday through Saturday and 9 am to 7 pm Sunday. Store manager Megan Dean declined media comment.
