Valley District to reshuffle playoffs excluding Harrisonburg High
Harrisonburg High will be excluded from Valley District tournaments in most team sports for the 2017 18 school year as the district adopts a revised playoff format to influence regional seeding. The move, supported by athletic directors and principals, keeps HHS in Class 5 Region D while other district schools compete for district titles and regional brackets.
