Elkton woman transforms Harrisonburg boutique into trafficking education hub
Sabrina Dorman-Andrew and her husband bought the former Pamela's Secrets at 3051 S Main St in Harrisonburg last April. They are remodeling the site to house New Creation, a non profit focused on educating the public about human and sex trafficking and aiding victims. Dorman-Andrew is 32, from Elkton, and Spotswood High School alumna.

Geography Bee winners at Elkton Middle School
Elkton Middle School hosted the Geography Bee on January 29 with participants from all three grades. Savannah Buckmaster took first, Emmaline Copeland second, and Matthew Weaver third, making Buckmaster eligible for possible state competition. Eighth-grader Sydney Haney won the Rockingham County Spelling Bee on January 15 with the word iguana, after previously winning the school spelling bee in November with lozenge. Haney has now won the school spelling bee four years in a row and the county bee for the second straight year.
