Wall of Honor keeps growing at Shenandoah Veterans Park
The Wall of Honor at Veterans Park on Virginia Avenue added 70 bricks on November 6, creating space for 160 more. Each brick costs 50 and bears a deceased service member’s name. Over 500 names are displayed. contributors include Christ United Methodist Church which helped fund the park begun in 2009 after land donation by the Shenandoah Library. Spotswood High School claims its first state theater title in the Virginia High School League 3A division. The 16-member drama team won with The Amish Project at Monticello High School in Charlottesville on December 1.
