Meals on Wheels delivers a holiday treat in Elkton
More than 50 people received a hot Thanksgiving meal two days early thanks to the Volunteer Meals on Wheels team. Bob Hammer, 83, and Jan Davis, 76, helped start the program in 1987, which Elkton’s Evangelical United Methodist Church now runs for a larger kitchen.

Elkton area shoppers can visit the Elkton Area Community Center Saturday for the seventh annual Christmas Bazaar from 9 am to 2 pm. The Elkton Progressive Improvement Committee hosts the annual Holiday Home and Church Tour this Sunday from 1 to 5 p.m. Three churches Bear Lithia Springs Baptist Evangelical Presbyterian Furnace United Methodist and the homes of Arnold and Nadine Conaway at 2667 Panorama Drive and the South Fork Inn Bed and Breakfast are featured.
