Elkton pedal car raffle supports gateway project
Elkton residents created a blue and gold replica pedal car painted with three Elkton scenes by artist Jeddie Hensley. Councilman Joshua Gooden coordinated the effort with Tim May and Hensley for a one of a kind collectors item. Proceeds fund eastern entrance sign costs as part of the Elkton Gateway Project to boost tourism with signage and downtown revitalization. Tickets cost 5 and go on sale December 6 at the Elkton Area Community Center Christmas Bazaar, with further sales through June 2015.
