Snow to challenge Printz in Elkton mayoral race
Elkton voters face a mayoral contest as Randell Snow withdraws from the council race and enters the mayoral race against incumbent Wayne Printz. Snow, a retired teacher, wrestler and former council member, will challenge Printz while incumbents Gooden and Isom are slated for re election. Councilman Gerry Comer did not run after being appointed to replace Printz following a council meeting remark about town hall repairs. Baker moves to Grace Memorial in Port Republic
The Rev Rhonda Baker, 66, recently left Grace Church in Goochland for Grace Memorial in Port Republic. She is the second Episcopal priest to move from Grace to Grace Memorial, following the late Rev Lou Breitenbach who served at Lynnwood Parish in the 1980s. Baker signed a three year contract to be priest in charge.
