Pennsylvania acts to aid drivers buyers
The Pennsylvania State Transportation Department and State Police announced a broad program to protect motorists and consumers. New driver licenses and auto titles will be harder to alter, include more identifying data, and list vehicle mileage and origin. Enhanced registration and titling aims to curb theft and fraud, with faster processing in 24 to 48 hours and a Consumers Guide to Buying an Automobile forthcoming.
