Decline in Wheat and Corn On Cheyenne County Farms
Cheyenne County reports show a sharp drop in grain on hand as assessed by County Assessor Herbert Foster. Flood Hits McCook Area Again After Rain Sheds Backwater
McCook and nearby areas suffered a fresh flood yesterday as torrential rain pushed the Republican River beyond its banks. Infant Dies Saturday Funeral Held Here
Roger William Gross five weeks old son of Mr and Mrs Benjamin Gross died in a local hospital Saturday afternoon after a three day illness. Funeral services were held from Rice funeral home Sunday Rev J J Sheaff of the Methodist church officiating and interment was made in Greenwood cemetery. The Grosses are farmers ten miles northwest of Sidney with another son Lyle six years old.
