Sidney Men Injured When Car Overturns In Ditch
Martin W. Dimery and Thomas and William O Connell were injured last Thursday night when their automobile overturned in a ditch east of Sidney. They were returning from a business trip to eastern Nebraska and were unable to escape for about an hour while gasoline drenched clothing. A shorted horn circuit raised fire risk. All received home treatment. Thomas O Connell was briefly confined at home with pneumonia threat but showed recovery.

Alliance Masons Permit for 25 Thousand Dollar Addition
A permit was issued Wednesday for a 25 000 dollar addition to the Masonic temple in Alliance. Excavation has begun in preparation for construction to house the Scottish Rite consistory recently added to the temple. Charles Fuller, who supervised the original temple, will lead the new addition work. The 50 by 50 foot extension will run from the rear of the present building to the alley.

Former Lodge Pole Man Victim Of Scottsbluff Air Crash
Roy H Libby former Lodge Pole resident and Western Public Service manager at Holdrege died in a plane crash at Scottsbluff Saturday along with Harold Lyman. The aircraft struck a residence street around five with both occupants cremated. Identification was by Sidney Steele, an eyewitness flyer for the company. Lyman piloted the plane owned by him and the crash left only twisted wreckage.
