California Man Fined For Reckless Driving
Bernard D. Ducharme of Glendale California paid a ten dollar fine plus costs in county court on a reckless driving charge. State Patrolman Joe Peirano investigated an accident at Sunol where Ducharme's car struck a machine driven by Joe Stimka who was signaling a left turn. Stimka and Ducharme were both traveling west and Ducharme tried to pass. Ducharme's car knocked the other machine from the road and overturned it. A local garage repaired Ducharme's car so he could continue to the west coast.

65th Anniversary I Married By Leafdales
Potter couple Mr. and Mrs. Martin Leafdale celebrated their sixty fifth wedding anniversary. Born in Sweden, he is 91 and she 87. They married in Sweden and moved to the United States in 1887.
