Lampe Debuts as Sub for Fairbury inpro Baseball Game

Ex-service men receive Adjusted Service Bonds at Steele City post office
Thirteen ex service men received their Adjusted Service Bonds at the Steele City post office last Monday June 15. Applicants desiring cash must sign the payment request in the presence of a certifying officer. Mrs H M Manning acting postmaster did not cash bonds locally but sent them to Omaha for re examination and exchange for checks made out to the applicants. Bonds were delivered to addressees only and veterans surrendering bonds for cash received interim receipts. Checks are to arrive by ordinary first class mail.
