Nebraska farmers seek 45 cent corn loans with inspections
The Nebraska warehousing law requires crib inspection and sealing before a 45¢ loan is issued. Thad Mendenhall of Fairbury is appointed as Jefferson county inspector. Emergency Agriculture Assistant W C Andreas holds blanks and can answer farmer questions. Loans run until March 1 1934 at 4 percent interest due August 1 1934. Farmers must enter corn hog adjustment contracts and pay 45¢ or more for corn to borrow.

Pythian Sisters Host Housewarming for Mrs Loyal Else
The Pythian Sisters of Blue Valley Temple No 6 Steele City Nebraska held a house warming for Mrs Loyal Else at her country home near Hollenberg on Tuesday evening November 28. Twenty two members attended and oyster supper with crackers celery pickles cheese and coffee was served. Guests departed late wishing Mrs Else happiness in her new home.
