St Louis edged Louisville 6 to 5. Baltimore beat Athletic 8 to 2. Columbus game at Milwaukee was prevented by cold weather.
Races on October 3 in New York show Dr Hasbrouck Port Chester Arab St Florian Bermuda Wah Jim winning six furlong and mile events with times from 1 13 to 2 07.
