Potter and Covey among those arrested. others released on bail. Prosecution alleges Potter gave orders to fire and that innocent men were targeted.
State prohibition convention convened at Greensboro with no nominations planned until tomorrow and a platform draft underway. Eighteen counties reported. four hundred dollars raised for campaign funds. Attendees include local officials and state leaders amid talk of a more expansive platform.
