Impri correspondent Kelly of the New York aid was released in Madrid on July 12 under a guarantee from the British Legation. He arrived in the city and regained his liberty after detention in connection with foreign affairs.
London reports July 12 describes Belfast preparing for the Orangemen parade amid fears of unrest. Authorities vow vigorous action to prevent repeats of the disturbances witnessed on the previous 12th of July.

Bridgeport July 12 James Gaffney an employee of the New York and New Haven railroad was struck and killed by the 10:30 express near Stratford. He had visited Bridgeport yesterday for medicine for his ailing wife and was walking toward his home in Euesford when struck on the railroad track.
A three story brick saw mill owned by Daniel Maguire at Ridge road and Market street burned yesterday evening. Maguire reports stock loss of 5000, while the upper floors used by Geo. W. Naylor for cabinet ware suffered 18000 in damage, partly insured. Adjacent paint dealer H B Corbin also suffered water damage.
The Physio Medical College of Indianapolis was incorporated in Indianapolis on a $100000 capital stock. Articles filed with the Secretary of State require the faculty to teach the doctrine of the Senative tendency of inflammation and fever and to reject nonconforming practitioners in line with the Baltimore platform of the National Physio Medical Association adopted in 1852.
Jersey City July 12 Deputy Marshal Stevenson fell during an arrest of John Prill a deserter from the Prussian bark William now in harbor Prill stabbed Stevenson three or four times in neck shoulders and body one wound pierced the heart and Stevenson died within minutes Prill then wounded himself twice in the stomach attempted suicide but was arrested and committed.
In San Francisco on July 12 the Military Commission found the Medocs guilty of the massacre of General Canby and the Peace Commissioner Teere. Prosecution evidence was strong and largely unrebutted. defense testimony offered little, and observers noted citizens and soldiers showing keen interest while trusting the Commission’s judgment.
Milwaukee July 12 The gross earnings for the Milwaukee and St. Paul railroad in June reached 925 210 compared with 594 769 the previous June. Cumulative gross earnings since January 1 1873 totaled 3 618 705 versus the same period in 1872.
Honorable Theodore Otis aged sixty three former mayor of Roxbury dies at home in Boston. A Portland Maine dispatch reports a man named Black on Grove Street was arrested for alleged rape of his two year old stepdaughter. A mob formed outside the station house with threats of lynching but the crowd dispersed without incident.
In St Louis on July 12 a cave in at Parker Ru & Co mine six miles southwest on Gravine road buried four workers. Morrison escaped, Judy suffered fatal injuries, Platt was cut in two, Kendall bruised. A crowd gathered as bodies were recovered. Investigation cites unknown causes beyond control.
The Y M C A opened its session with devotional exercises in Poughkeepsie. Minutes were approved, the Executive Committee recommended continuing a general secretary and agents, subscriptions to the executive fund reached 8650 dollars, and Mayor Eastman invited delegates to an open air concert at his park.
A report notes A G Freuth, alias Harry Hudson of Hudson & Co., arrested in Harrisburg for forgery and confession of fraud against Germania Bank of New York. Bank disputes losses while Freuth’s alleged scheme involved stopping payments and forging checks. Other items include indictments for murder, manslaughter, and a Brooklyn street assault as news continues.
Henry McDermott was assaulted and robbed at Randolph and Canal streets. One robber named Martin was arrested. Five hundred stone cutters belonging to the Union have struck for higher wages.

The Fire Commissioners at their meeting yesterday revised Fire Department rules and regulations and enacted changes in the composition and salaries of department members.
The board adopts a new fire department framework with a Chief Engineer and district Assistant Engineers, a Secretary, and station and running members.
