Exeter February 8 A published statement reports Evans newly convicted of the Miss Lovering murder confesses a string of past crimes. He says he killed a five year old niece in Derry New Hampshire in 1858 and in 1861 he cut the throat of a four year old girl in Augusta Maine leading to another man dying in prison. In 1865 he outraged fourteen year old Isabella Joyce and killed her and her twelve year old brother John in Bussey's Woods West Roxbury. In 1872 he attacked a woman near Fitchburg Mass and the same year outraged and murdered his twelve year old neighbor Georgiana Lovering in Northwood New Hampshire.
