The board awarded the fresh beef contract to Hannan & Lyons at five and three-fourths cents per pound with A D Bullock and George Weber as sureties. The infirmary should be ready for occupancy by paupers in one week. Minor delays include a steam pump installation and house cleaning likely to finish in about ten days. The new Assistant Superintendent and physician have started in their new duties and the building operations proceed smoothly.
Common Pleas and Superior Court cases cover divorces on grounds of cruelty and neglect, cross petitions, and dismissals.
