Joliet Civic committee named to aid finance council
In 1914 a citizens advisory committee was formed to assist Joliet's city council finance committee. Members included Charles E. Wilson of Will County National Bank and Joliet National Bank president Robert T. Kelly, among others. Also noted were a car theft in Plainfield and a fine for John Dongowski, plus St. Joseph's Church dramatic club success and park board plans for Highland park development.
