Ramey mine near Forney Idaho is described as a vast quartz porphyry ore body with gold values from 50 to 1500 dollars per ton and strong silver, developed under manager W P Carter. New owners form Lemhi Mining Company with W H Goss praising the discovery as a major belt-wide find and urging more prospectors to stake ground and mine.
Idaho takes the first prize sweepstakes a 500 loving cup presented by Senator W A Clark for the greatest variety and most perfect fruit freest from insects and fungus diseases at the Irrigation Congress in Utah. The event drew a large attendance and was deemed a great success.
