State Mine Inspector Bell praised the Lost Packer mine on Loon Creek in Custer County as the year’s top mining development. He described a wide pay streak of chalcopyrite ore with 2 to 5 ounces of gold and 10 to 20 percent copper, plus a planned 100 ton daily smelter and a deep adit to unlock a large, richly mineralized vein.

Parker Mountain Report Shows Rapid Mine Development

Reports from Parker Mountain indicate rapid development under bond by the United States company of Utah with C A Goss and W H Goss in charge. Idaho Falls Couple Married by Idaho Falls

Hotel Léaton George D. Peacock of Blackfoot and Miss Ethel Peck of Idaho Falls wed in Idaho Falls last Thursday evening. County Attorney Lamme, Henry J. Bradbury, and others hunted deer, promising venison. Bunch Brothers and associates bond 60 miles of Salmon river placer ground between Challis and Stanley Basin, claim 5 cents to 1 dollar per yard potential, with extensive dredging plans and Ready capital. They bond ground to San Francisco parties, expect to begin next season around May first, and will use the Robinson Bar hotel as office and boarding house.
