In Challis at the Odd Fellows hall last Tuesday night September 80 the Democratic State campaign began in Custer county. Governor Hunt and Hon James R Sovereign spoke to a large audience after late arrival from Salmon by James Macnab and Sheriff Hughes of Lemhi. Sweet presided, and both speakers delivered strong logical arguments with Sovereign praised as an able orator.
