Notice to the public announces Mrs M Jose offers first class board and lodging northwest of R N Hull Co store in Challis Idaho. Meals and lodging available by day week or month with fine rooms and beds and a table supplied with the best in the market at reasonable rates.
At the home of Mr and Mrs James Papworth on East Fork the marriage of Ellis Papworth to Daisy Cooper was performed by Judge Marker. About fifty guests attended dancing and a late repast, with numerous presents listed and warm congratulations from The MESSENGER. The notes also cover a second Idaho wedding on March 12 between Daniel C Breyer and Margaret Bradshaw, quiet ceremony with brief reception and many gifts, plus local legal docket entries and community news.
At Mackay the hearing of the Big Lost river water suit ends with Associate Justice Sullivan proposing a resolution thanking Judge K L Perky for his swift, able, and courteous conduct. The case involves about 800 parties and 1500 pages of transcript, with 275 water right claims heard in ten days.

Chamberlain of Custer County oversees the action.
