Eighth Grade Commencement at Opera House
The Eighth Grade class from Challis Clayton and Houston, seven scholars, was honored at a largely attended county commencement in the opera house. Recitations by Mildred Gayle Verne McGowan Minnie Germer Blanch Ewing and a piano duet by Mildred Gayle and F A Reed highlighted the program along with a class poem by Earl Dodge and a valedictory by Martha Tewart. Diplomas were delivered by the County Superintendent as graduates celebrated years of study from kindergarten onward.
