Sheriff Edwin Chamberlain of Custer county Idaho married Miss Alice Buster in Blackfoot on January 1 1902. Last Thursday near Lone Pine summit Challis resident G. T. Potter faced a deadly runaway river of freight wagons. The four six horse teams and two wagons hauled loaded freight when brakes failed on the icy descent, steering into the bank and throwing Potter. His right arm was broken and mangled but he was brought to Challis for care and improving recovery.
