Bids cover housing, food, clothing, lodging, medicines, medical and surgical attendance, including nurses, and decent interment at the County Hospital. Board of County Commissioners of reounty Idaho at their January 1904 meeting invites proposals for constructing a breakwater on the north side of Salmon River about one and a half miles above the bridge below Watson's ranch. Plans and specs are on file in the Clerk's office. Bids must be sealed and marked Proposal for breakwater and filed with the Clerk by the second Monday of January 1904. Custer County stockmen are invited to gather at the Challis Court House on Saturday December 19 2003 at 1 p m to form a stock association.
Jacov Perkonen, convicted of manslaughter at the March 1902 District Court term in Custer County Idaho, was sentenced to ten years at the Idaho State Penitentiary and will apply to the Idaho Board of Pardons at the January 1904 session for a pardon. First publication December 5, 1903.
