Custer County Idaho Emerges As Rich Mining Region
Custer County Idaho offers vast inducements to settlers and capitalists. It sits in central Idaho with mining districts like Mackay Bayhorse and Stanley Basin, and shows rich copper, lead, and gold prospects. Agriculture and stock-raising support growth, irrigation projects loom, and transportation improves with rail and telegraph links. The county spans about 6000 square miles, comparable to Connecticut, with deep timber, fertile valleys, and a budding economy driven by mining and farming.
