Last Thursday afternoon March 30 1905 Bob Whitsett and Myrtle Grubb of May Idaho were married at the home of H C McKendrick in Challis with Judge Horton officiating. The couple departed for Pahsamarol after a serenade and plans for the future were shared.

Stage carried men to Loon Creek to work for Lost Packer company. C V Hanson arrived on business. H F Terry and Gus Betz returned from Skylark mine. 8 H Wilcox improves rapidly. Clayton boys held a farewell dance for those going to Loon Creek. John Ernst in Good Friend mine finds high grade ore. looks promising. Ed Baker hauls cord wood. John Hodson visited from Bayhorse. Clayton baseball club dissolved due to Loon Creek boom.

The event featured festive conversation, a bountiful supper, and a housewarming that followed the removal from the burned old home. Ellis, a prominent local, and his large family were hailed for hospitality and happiness in the new ranch home.
