Council Weighs Living Rule for Village Employees
The council passed two ordinances and approved the village budget at a Wednesday meeting presided by Olenn Zeigler. The pay ordinance moved forward and a live-in-town requirement for employees was placed on first reading. A cross walk for Ernest Wald at Clover Street was approved and a $260 bond for a county ditch south of the village was authorized. Mayor Snyder reported $442.80 in fines and licenses since November 1934.
