Former R H S Student Goes To Town In France
Lt Leslie Dale Winship of Delaware, son of George Winship of Rittman and former Rittman high student, helped block German reinforcements behind lines near Lemuy in southern France. After 24 hours without firing a shot, he killed two Germans as his unit waited for the enemy. The 31 year old paratrooper veteran has a wife and four children.
