Local Daredevils Buy Flying Machine Form Rittman Club
Four local men form a Rittman flying club aiming for airline ambitions. They own a used Piper Cub purchased by Chuck Stauch who will train under the GI Program with Ray Wald Paul Zvadac and Frank Volek. The plane sits at Benny Sauer’s field and will move to Sherman airport. Stauch plans a commercial license. One of the three others has no flight experience. One third of the other three planes were sold as junk.
