Center Open House At Civic Center Draws 300 Youth
About 300 students attended the Civic Center opening night and purchased 62 memberships. The center will host seventh and eighth graders Friday and has specific hours for senior high students on weekends and Tuesday evenings. Memberships cost 2 dollars and grant access to most events. Fine Arts Foundation tickets go on sale this week via local service clubs and Rittman Federated Women's Clubs. Prices are $3 for a single season and $12 for a patron ticket. The season will feature the Manhattan Festival Ballet on Tuesday October 8 and Metropolitan Opera bass baritone Edmond Karlsrud on April 26. A third event is to be announced. The Harvest Art Festival will be held during Thanksgiving weekend. Details forthcoming.
