About thirty members of Rittman Lodge No 766 Knights of Pythias attended Orrville Thursday night for ritual work as many candidates were initiated. Boy loses hand in rabbit hunt near Rittman
An eighteen year old hunter from Rittman suffered the loss of his right hand after a gun discharged while he stood on a stump with the muzzle resting on the ground near the Berger farm southeast of Rittman. Amputation occurred at Wooster hospital, with the boy expected to recover.

Greek man arraigned for disturbing the peace in city fight
Lemis Asimacopulos, a Greek immigrant, appeared before Mayor Shackleford on a Tuesday charge of disturbing the peace.
