Halloween Notice Triggers Petitions In City Council

Mayor Ashton Hall reported two petitions from children after Halloween was moved to Sunday noon. A Rittman family missed the notice and faced disappointed children. Neighbors suggested dressing youngsters in finery and visiting a home for Halloween night. Bloodmobile seeks donors at Milton church and Rittman

The Bloodmobile in Milton at Senior High Fellowship of Milton United Presbyterian Church will recruit donors Saturday morning in the downtown area and at Rittman Shopping Center in the afternoon. Bauman Opens One-Chair Barbershop Near Parents’ Home

Bauman will run a one chair shop in a new building beside his parents Mr and Mrs Marvin Bauman. A Rittman High School graduate class of 1964 he finished Akron Barber College in June 1965 and recently earned Ohio state registered barber license. He served two years in the US Army including one year in Vietnam and then worked at Amherst Barber Shop at Amherst Shopping Center. He and his wife former Judy Willos Strasburg live at 55 Fairlawn.

Patroller Ronald Valentine Joins Rittman Police Department

Ronald J. Valentine title patrolman this week in the Rittman Police Department. He previously served on the Rittman force four and a half years from November 1961 to May 1966. For the past two years he worked for Ray N. Pratt Excavating and in Ohio Injector Company personnel. He resides at 288 North Metzger.

OSBA Meet Led by Rittman Board Member Stoll In Columbus

Robert Stoll of Rittman Board of Education will join 660 plus Ohio school boards in Columbus November 12 to 14 as a voting delegate at the 13th annual OSBA meeting. Charles Steiner from Chippewa Local will attend as well. Resolutions cover fiscal year changes, dues limits, and education excellence legislation.
