Fred Franklin, once of Rittman, moved to New Marion Indiana in 1923 and returned last summer per his niece Mrs Robert Wright. His wife Queen Dickerson, a noted Rittman artist whose work shows in Chicago, previously owned a Fourth Street home in 1914. A Wells Fargo receipt bearing Franklin’s name was found in the home recently.
