A Civil War veteran in Rittmar township, identified as Daniel Freeman, aged years, is found to be the discoverer of four generations of Freemans. The tale unfolds after a Tuesday afternoon walk when he encounters the survivor of the war and the family lineage emerges.

City council granted permission to close part of N Mall at nights for a July carnival while ensuring street activities for merchants. The meeting also discussed parking restrictions on Salt Street, traffic safety near factories, and the Boy Scout site petition for a new meeting place.
