John Cox of Wooster will give the Memorial Day address at Rittman Cemetery next Tuesday May 30 at 11 00 a m He is a former Colonel in the 2782 Military Unit Reserve Corps and now practices law in Wooster The parade forms on Erie Street at 9 00 a m and proceeds to the square then to the cemetery Participants include American Legion Auxiliary Boy Scouts Girl Scouts Brownies Cubs Loyal Order of the Moose Daughters of America and the Rittman High School Band Claude Smith of the How ard A Bair Post will be officer in charge.

Minnie Peters 79 of River Styx area died Tuesday afternoon at home after a brief illness. She taught in township schools for 14 years and later ran a convalescent home for the aged. Survivors include sister Maggie Leatherman of Goshen Ind brother Jacob Leatherman of Wadsworth R D and a brother-in-law George Kindig of Adsworth R D.
