Mimeograph Gift Marks Rittman High Commencement
A 1950 class memorial mimeograph machine was presented to Rittman High School by class president Glenna Christian at Friday’s commencement. Principal Sylvan Wiles noted the class as the second largest in the school's history with 45 graduates and 13 National Honor Society members. Diplomas were given by Board of Education president Leonard G. Over. Worcester College professor William C. Craig spoke on The State of Our Being, introduced by Supt. W. H. Hauenstein. Class sponsors were Mrs. Hilda Over and Eli Stolzfus.

Charles E Castor Dies at 81 in Wooster Area
Charles E. Castor died at age 81 Saturday noon at Wooster Community Hospital after a short illness. A former Rittman resident, he worked for the Ohio Boxboard Co and the R C Gan Co. He is survived by six children, three brothers, 13 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Gillman Funeral Home with Rev. Charles Ashman Jr. officiating. burial in Petysville. Friends may call Friday 7 to 9 p.m.

Mrs Mary Wald 83 Dies Near Sterling After Illness
Mrs Mary Wald aged 83 died at her home one mile east of Sterling Wednesday after a short illness. She was born in Alsace Lorraine and lived in Milton township for 60 years. Survived by husband Camil two sons Ernest of Rittman and Emil of Sterling three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The Walds observed their 63rd wedding anniversary on May 18. Funeral at St Ann's Catholic Church Saturday at 10 00 a m Rev Father J T Farrell officiating Burial in St Ann's Cemetery south of Rittman.
